What I want to see in a guy are these qualities. This doesn’t have to apply to all guys, but there should be some qualities the guy should have.
Being Respectful. If a guy can respect a girl, then I will respect a guy. It’s a number one rule in dating. If a guy is being rude, judgemental or abusive to me, then I will immediately leave the abusive relationship.
Honesty + trustworthy. In every relationship, honesty and trust is key. I want to date a guy who is truly honest of himself, but as well as can I trust him? If he lies about his affairs, stealing, his life whatever, how can I even trust this guy?
Great sense of humour. Hey, if a guy can make a girl laugh, I think he’s the one. (lol)
Great listener and talker. If I can listen to your stories all day, then you can hear mine.
Self-sacrifice/protector. (Kinda like I scratch your back, you scratched mine.) Whenever I have problems, I need a friend in need. If I date a guy, I want that guy to also be my best friend—who is always there for me in need. And when he needs something, I’ll be there for him. You know, the protector.
Equality. Can we both equally share our love to each other fairly, rather than one person exerts the love and the other isn’t love-interested. You know?
Stable job and stable salary. Let’s be real here, what I look for in a guy is does he have a stable job and a stable salary? And no I am not a Gold Digger. The reason I ask this is because if let say I want to get married (one day) and start a family with this dude, he must have the needs to provide the family with love and financials. If he is broke, alcoholic and abusive, how can I survive at supporting my family with this kind of relationship?
Has confidence to say something (opposed to being reserved.) I have to note this is because if we are dating and you don’t want to date me, just say it to me with no balls. I’d rather have a guy who has the confidence to say something to me, than keeping it inside or playing flirting games. If you play flirting games, I wouldn’t know if you like me or not because I am love blind all the time.
Accepts for who I am. I can be weird at times. I can be quirky at times. I can be attachable at times. If a guy accepts for me of who I am (with or without makeup, chubby or not chubby, tall or short, pretty or cute, etc.) then he is the one. I want a guy who accepts me for being me, no matter what. It’s a matter of do we have chemistry together? Yeah or nah.
Vulnerability. Can the guy I date be vulnerable as I am vulnerable with him? I care for you, you care for me, kind of thing.
